Cat with Pancreatitis

January 18, 2019 by thehealthy

Q. My 8 yr old Cat Henry was recently diagnosed with Pancreatitis.   Looking for a food that would help him and his digestion. He’s on a feeding tube now, but when he’s ready I would like some good healthy food for him.

Let me know what you think, also do you sell CBD oil?

Stephanie M.

A. We are seeing a rise in pancreatitis in both dogs and cats.   I would suggest getting the cat off of any processed foods. No dry food and as fresh as possible.  A good can food or baby food if the cat is having trouble eating, the baby food should just be meat only no grains or vegetables, very easy on the digestion. No high fats at this time. I would also put the kitty on a Digestive enzyme with Probiotics.  We have a very good one at the store, you are more than welcome to come in and talk, we are here to help.

Here is a link to Dr Becker about pancreatitis,  http://healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2009/12/16/dont-let-this-organ-ruin-your-pets-life.aspx

Yes, we sell CBD oil for both cats and dogs.

Thank you, Diane
